The services of a few essential Texans players won’t be available this weekend vs the Broncos. The Texans have been playing the season with injuries so Sunday won’t be any different.
Electrifying slot receiver Keke Coutee is still dealing with hamstring issues so he will be missing another game since going out against the Jaguars in week 7. With the absence of Will Fuller for the rest of the season fans are hoping Coutee’s speed would be utilized in the Texans game plan but they’ll have to wait another week to see it.
Offseason addition Aaron Colvin practiced this week and the team had slim hopes of him being available this game. The Texans secondary has been without Colvin since the win streak began against the Colts in week 4. Originally expected to be out 6-8 weeks with an ankle injury, Colvin looks to be on schedule for his return. Fortunately with the bye week is coming up soon and he should be ready when the Texans return to action.
If the Texans can leave Denver with a win, the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time. They’ll be returning several players from lesser injuries and could possibly returning multiple players from IR and the P.U.P. list.
